Look Before You Leave
The airport sincerely hopes our guests take good care with their personal possesions; but we also understand people occasionally forget things when rushed or in unfamiliar surroundings. When traveling, regardless where in the world you may be, please take a few extra moments to check your surroundings before moving from one airport area to another. Taking a little extra time can help avoid a misfortunate situation.
Some tips that might save you from losing an item:
First impressions are lasting ones. For many first time visitors to the Sarasota Bradenton area, our Ambassadors are the first local representatives the traveling public encounters. Our ambassador's are wonderful volunteers from our community who want to assist the traveling public with questions about our airport or about the community. The Ambassadors wear distinctive green blazers and can be found at strategically located stations on the first and second floors of the terminal ready to answer questions and assist visitors, our airport guests. Tour and Speakers Bureau Programs SRQ Ambassadors also conduct tours of the terminal complex and Airport firehouse. The airport tour program includes the terminal and, if desired, the airport fire department. The airport also schedules speakers for interested community groups. Tours and speakers are free of charge. Just call 359-2770, ext. 4211, for more information. Interested in Becoming an SRQ Ambassador?
