Air Canada Offers Year Round Service

AIR CANADA TO OFFER YEAR-ROUND SERVICE FROM TORONTO TO SRQ

The Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority (SMAA) is pleased to announce that Air Canada will extend its non-stop Toronto (YYZ) service into the Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) year-round. Since 2006, Air Canada has been offering daily non-stop seasonal service from the Canadian Ontario region to SRQ between November and April.

Effective May 2, 2015, Air Canada will continue service with 2 weekly non-stop flights on Thursdays and Saturdays to SRQ, closing the summer-time gap and offering Canadian passengers year-round access to the Southwest Florida Gulf Coast. Passengers on Air Canada will fly on Embraer-190 aircraft. These aircraft are configured with nine (9) business class, twenty (24) preferred, and sixty-four (64) economy seats. All 97 seats on the aircraft offer “video on demand.”

Local residents can now also enjoy non-stop service to beautiful Toronto during the summer or connect conveniently in Toronto and visit other worldwide destinations using Air Canada’s extensive network.”

In addition, these flights also enable Air Canada’s worldwide customers, including those from Europe, to travel to Sarasota Bradenton conveniently on a year-round basis as flights are timed to conveniently connect in Toronto to and from Air Canada’s worldwide network.
